Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Trueline Kalispell Concrete, concretekalispell.com, team@concretekalispell.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Trueline Kalispell Concrete website and the concrete work we do for you. By using this site, asking us for an estimate or hiring us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

Your signed estimate or contract is the main agreement for your job. If it says something different from these terms, the signed document controls for that job.

The work we do

Trueline Kalispell Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Kalispell, MT. We pour driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, foundations and other flatwork, the flat slabs around a house and yard, and we do related work like retaining walls and concrete cutting. You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page.

The service descriptions on this site are general. The exact work for your job, including the area, the slab thickness, the finish and any removal of old concrete, is what your written estimate lists.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done in person, and come with no obligation to hire us. We price the job on what we can see and measure at your property, so the estimate states what's included and what isn't.

Some things only show up once the old concrete is out or the digging starts, like soft or wet subgrade, the ground the slab sits on, buried debris or large roots. If we find something that changes the work, we'll stop, show you, and get your approval in writing before we do extra work or charge for it.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, material and delivery costs can change, so we may need to update the price before we schedule.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

The date we give you is our target, and weather, ground conditions and material delivery can move it. We won't pour on frozen ground or when rain or cold would ruin the surface, because concrete poured in those conditions comes out weaker, and we'd rather move the date than leave you with a slab that fails early.

New concrete needs time to cure, the waiting period while it hardens and gains strength, before you walk or drive on it. We'll tell you when it's safe to use, and damage from using it sooner isn't covered by us.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as early as you can by calling (406) 309-7887 or through our Contact page. If you cancel after we've ordered materials or started work, you'll owe for the materials ordered and the work done up to that point, as your written agreement states.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew and trucks safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything buried that we can't see, such as sprinkler lines, private gas or power lines, septic parts or drain pipes. We aren't responsible for damage to buried items you didn't tell us about.

Unless your written agreement says we'll handle it, you're responsible for checking whether your job needs a permit or approval from a homeowners association. Concrete trucks and equipment can leave marks on lawns and gravel near the work area, and your estimate says what cleanup and restoration we include.

Payment

Your written estimate or contract sets out any deposit and when each payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the remaining balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may charge the late fees your agreement states and use the remedies Montana law allows, which can include a construction lien on the property where we did the work.

Cracks, normal wear and what our work covers

Concrete can crack even when it's done right, because it shrinks as it dries and moves as the ground freezes and thaws. We cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, so most cracking stays in those lines. Hairline cracks, small color differences and minor surface variation are normal and aren't defects.

We aren't responsible for damage caused by things outside our control, including de-icing salts, loads heavier than the slab was built for, ground we didn't prepare, tree roots, drainage changes made by others, or use before the slab has cured.

Any workmanship warranty for your job is written in your agreement. Beyond that warranty and what the law requires, our work is provided without other warranties, stated or implied, to the extent Montana law allows. If you're not satisfied with our work, call us first, and we'll come out and look at it with you.

Information on this website

What we write on this site is general information about concrete work, not engineering advice for your property. We try to keep it accurate, but we can't promise it fits every situation, and we may change it at any time without notice.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Trueline Kalispell Concrete isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property or costs you take on because of a delay. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for the work the claim is about.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that Montana law doesn't allow us to limit.

Resolving disagreements

If there's a problem, talk to us first by phone or through our Contact page, and give us a fair chance to look at it and make it right. Most concerns get settled that way.

If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit about these terms or our work will be filed in the courts of Flathead County, Montana.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Montana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page. The terms in effect when you sign your estimate or contract are the ones that apply to that job.
